New York Life Insurance Building, northeast corner of Madison Avenue and 26th street in Madison Square Park.
Although one of those tour bus monuments (so big that people think it must be good), in architectural quality, this bloated chateau is a flight of steps down from the earlier headquarters, the sumptuous 346 Broadway. But it is great at night, with tower lighting.
The New York Life Insurance Building replaced the original Madison Square Garden.
